2009 - 2010
The member supported, not-for-profit organization for people in the business of selling travel. Our members, totaling approximately 150, range from travel agency owners, front-line agents, independent contractors, as well as vendor sales representatives. We serve an extensive area in the Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts, and Vermont region.
Today’s economy presents many challenges for the travel industry. Our mission is to exchange ideas on travel promotion and selling, and to develop travel knowledge through educational programs and trade shows. Our organization needs to focus on the vendors that support W.I.T.S.
I urge all W.I.T.S members to show their support by attending our monthly meetings. The board has been working hard to set up some exciting educational programs. I am looking forward to a really great year and I encourage anyone who wants to get involved in one of the monthly programs to let us know.
